About KdeSudoKdeSudo is a graphical frontend to the sudo command. The syntax is very simple: kdesudo <command> tries to execute whatever you pass as <command> as user root. An other possible call is kdesudo -u runas <command>. With this call KdeSudo tries to run <command> as the user specified with runas. Some words to the error messages of KdeSudo. If you get the message: Your username is unknown to sudo! this means that the system administrator didn't allow your user to use the sudo. While Your user is not allowed to run the specified command! means that you are not allowed to run the specified program at all, or just not with the specified parameters.
